Chechen administration head Akhmad Kadyrov is likely to make public the name of the new head of the Chechen government as early as today in Grozny, an informed source in the Chechen government told RIA Novosti.
According to the source's information, Kadyrov has headed for Grozny upon holding in Moscow a number of consultations, which most probably touched upon the new candidacy to the prime ministerial post. Mikhail Babich who used to hold the post has voiced his intention to resign.
Sources in the staff of federal minister on Chechen affairs Stanislav Ilyasov told RIA Novosti that the last word as regards the candidacy of the Chechen government head remained with Kadyrov.
The source wouldn't name any possible nominees.
Meanwhile, on Saturday Ilyasov met with Nikolai Aiginov, who is a possible candidate for the Chechen premiership.
