Russia will repay 1.99bn to foreign creditors in February 2003, a source in the Finance Ministry of Russia told RBC. Payments to foreign governments, banks and companies will reach $1.81bn (including $825.59 in principal payments, and $987.3 in interest payments). The amount due to international financial organizations is $178.73m (including $124.95m in principal payments and $53.78m in interest payments).
In January 2003 Russia repaid the sum of $1.86bn to foreign creditors. In total, it has to repay about $17.3bn to foreign creditors in 2003.
