NTV delays reaction to Gazprom-Media head's dismissal

The real reasons for the dismissal of Boris Yordan from the post of General Director of the Gazprom-Media company are outside the sphere of business, Oleg Sapozhnikov, head of the NTV television's press service declared. According to him, shareholders had repeatedly voiced their satisfaction with the work of the management and the strategy of the company's development adopted by it. Additionally, Gazprom made a three-year contract with Yordan for the management of Gazprom-Media several months ago.

The management of NTV intends to discuss the situation around the dismissal until Monday, January 20. After that, it will make a statement on this issue for the press.
