Russian President's plenipotentiary Viktor Kazantsev arrives in Grozny

On Saturday Viktor Kazantsev, the plenipotentiary representative of the Russian President in the Southern federal district, arrived in Grozny to coordinate federal structures' actions to eliminate consequences of the terrorist act in the house of government, Maksim Fedorenko, chief of the information and analytical department of the office of the plenipotentiary representative informed RIA Novosti.

According to him, the plenipotentiary intends to assess locally the scale of the incident and to specify what material and medical assistance is required at present.

The plenipotentiary is expected to pay special attention to coordinating power structures' actions to investigate the terrorist act, Fedorenko reported.
