Revenues of consolidated budget posted

Over the first eleven months of 2002, revenues of the Russian consolidated budget amounted to 2.111 billion rubles (about $66.42bn), the press service of the Russian Tax Ministry reported. This November, the Russian budget earned RUR211.3bn (about $6.65bn) in tax payments, which was 15.8 percent more than in the corresponding period of 2001. Of the total sum of tax payments, the federal budget received 49.5 percent; regional budgets received 50.5 percent.

As for the regions, which provide budget revenues, they have actually remained the same. Over January-November 2002, Moscow's share in consolidated budget revenues amounted to 22.4 percent. The share of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area was 10.8 percent, of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area - 4.6 percent, of the Moscow region and St. Petersburg - 3.8 percent each, of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Samara region - 2.8 percent each, and of the Bashkir Republic - 2.6 percent.
