On Wednesday the Transport Ministry and the trade unions signed an agreement on halting the air traffic controllers' strikes.
As RIA Novosti learned from the press service of the ministry, the agreement provides for a gradual reforming of the remuneration system.
In particular, there is a plan to increase wages by 15.72 percent of "all the workers of air traffic organizations except for heads and their deputies," a source at the ministry said.
The wages of air traffic controllers will be additionally increased by 11 percent, according to the ministry's press service.
Moreover, the document stipulates a further rise in remuneration in the first half of the next year in accordance with the budget revenues.
