The Board of Directors of Aeroflot is planning to consider results of the air company's work in the first nine months of 2002 and the budget draft for 2003.
According to the company's press service, Aeroflot's net income in the reported period amounted to 1.37bn rubles ($43m), which was 250 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year. Revenues were 32.655bn rubles ($1.06bn), which was 7 percent higher than in the first nine months of 2001. The company transferred 4.234m passengers and 77,000 tons of cargo. Aeroflot expects to have a $75m net income this year.
