Iraq Asks Arab Nations to Help

Iraq’s Trade Minister, Mohammed Mahdi Saleh, asked the Arab nations to help Iraq against the USA and UK in an interview broadcast by the Qatar-based TV station, Al Jazeera.

In the interview, Saleh declared that “We hope that our Arab brothers will come to help us to defend the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Iraq against any act of aggression by the USA or Britain”. He added that the first objective of Washington and London is the division of Iraq, before they launch into a policy of dividing the other nations in the area.

“Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, Iran and Turkey will be the next targets of the Anglo-American plan to split up the Arab and Islamic world”.
