The Sibneft Oil Company discusses only two ways of managing the assets of the Slavneft Oil and Gas Company jointly with the Tyumen Oil Company (TNK), Sibneft's President Yevgeny Shvidler reported today. According to him, the first way suggests a proportionate division of Slavneft's assets between TNK and Sibneft. The other way is merging Slavneft's assets to Sibneft and further TNK's participation in the capital of the combined company. According to Shvidler, the final decision will be made rather promptly, in several weeks. Moreover, the assets to be divided include 10.83 percent in Slavneft, which Sibneft bought from the Belarusian government.
Additionally, Sibneft's President pointed out that credits attracted by the company for purchasing the state in Slavneft, could be allotted for other projects; the businessman refused to be more specific about it.
