Russia's gas giant Gazprom is to hold a presentation of a new strategic packet of the company, which is the construction of the North European Gas Pipeline. As the press service of the holding reported, the implementation of the construction project would link Russia's gas transportation systems to the European gas network directly.
The project envisages laying the pipeline at the bottom of the Baltic Sea to Germany, and a possibility to build undersea pipeline branches for delivering gas to the Kaliningrad region, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. The implementation of the project will also enable Gazprom to supply gas to Great Britain.
Gazprom's CEO Alexey Miller will participate in the presentation of the project.
