The conference "The Russian Banking Sector" will open in London today. It was organized by the Adam Smith Institute and supported by the Association of Regional Banks of Russia, the Association of Russian Banks and the Moscow Times. The conference will be held on December 3 and 4.
Participants of the forum will discuss problems with reforms in the Russian banking sector, consolidation and restructuring of banks, activities of foreign banks in Russia and other issues. Among participants of the conference will be the President of the Association of Regional Banks of Russia as well as representatives of the EBRD, the IMF, the World Bank and western banks working in London's City.
