The second international exhibition of machinery, equipment, materials, semi-manufactured goods and component parts for furniture and other wooden products 'Interkomplekt-2002' will take place in the exhibition centre Sokolniki in Moscow on December 9-12. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced on Monday, December 2, by exhibition director Valentina Vishnevskaya.
Mrs Vishnevskaya said that manufacturers, salespeople, research and design institutes, small and medium-sized businesses and foreign companies would all be taking part at the exhibition. In total there will be 300 Russian and foreign enterprises from 25 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, China, the USA and Finland, represented at the exhibition. Russian firms will account for 60% of the exhibition space.
The exhibition will include seminars and round-table discussions as well as an international conference 'The woodworking and furniture industries. Problems and potential development.' Furthermore, there will be a competitive display of Russian materials, accessories and furniture parts, the winners of which will receive diplomas from the Russian Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology.
The exhibition is being organised by the exhibition centre Sokolniki with the help of the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology, the Union of Russian Timber Producers, the Association of Russian Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises and Tsentrlesexpo.
