The technological forum scheduled for November 19th-21st in Irkutsk (administrative center of the East-Siberian region in Baikal of the same name) will intensify the development of business relations between Russian and Japanese private enterprises.
The forum was organised by the Japanese Association on Trade with Russia and Eastern Europe /ROTOBO/ and the Irkutsk regional administration, according to a RIA Novosti correspondent.
On Tuesday the Japanese specialists who have arrived in Irkutsk will see a presentation of works developed by scientific and research organisations of the Irkutsk scientific center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Siberian department. On Wednesday, Baikalbusinesscenter will host forum meetings. On Thursday its participants will visit manufacturing enterprises of the Irkutsk region: the Baikal pulp and paper factory, the Angarsk oil and chemical Yuko company and the Irkutsk aluminum plant.
It is supposed that after the forum, a group of Siberian entrepreneurs will be invited to Japan for probation.
