Divers Commenced Installation Of Hydraulic Grippers Into Kursk's 7th Compartment

On Saturday, the divers working on the hull of the Kursk nuclear submarine, will embark on installing 10 hydraulic grippers into the 7th and 8th compartments of the sub's stern, Captain 1st class Igor Dygalo, assistant to the Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief, was quoted as saying. In his words, the divers have already installed 16 out of 26 grippers into the sub's inner hull. Installation of grippers has been completed in the 3rd, 4th and 5th compartments.
