Law enforcers have launched a special operation in the Chechen town of Argun to track down organisers of the attack on Akhmad Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen administration. According to a report issued by the press service of the administration head, Kadyrov's car and escort came under fire on Tuesday evening. The assailants, armed with machine guns and assault rifles, were hiding inside a ravaged building. Kadyrov's bodyguards curtailed the attack by opening response fire. Kadyrov wasn't hurt, and even his car was left undamaged, having managed to escape the fire line, but three bodyguards were wounded. In all, it was the thirteenth attempt on Kadyrov's life.
