"Scrubs" TV-series producer detained on suspicion of rape

One of the producers of the American comedy series "Scrubs" Eric Weinberg was detained on suspicion of sexual harassment, including rape, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a release.

The crimes imputed to Weinberg occurred from 2012 to 2019. On Thursday at noon, the police arrived at the producer's home and detained him.

The release notes that Weinberg allegedly met girls in their 20s and 30s in stores, coffee shops and other public places, introduced himself as a photographer, then invited them to his home to participate in a photo shoot, and began to harass them during the shooting.

Police believe that the first such cases occurred in the 1990s, and are now looking for Weinberg's victims.

According to his IMDb page, Weinberg produced 92 episodes of Clinics and wrote 11 episodes. In addition, he participated in the work on the TV series Californication, Anger Management and American Dad.
