US cop beats black teenager for jaywalking

A scandal broke in the Californian city of Stockton with involvement of the police and a black teenager.

The teenager was noticed by the police officer as walking in a bus-only lane. The 16-year-old was beaten with a baton, handcuffed and found himself at the police station.

The video released by the passers-by shows that people point out the age of a young man. The police though, claimed that apart from jaywalking, the young man was detained for resisting arrest.

In order to detain him, there arrived nine police officers to the site of the incident. Family of the 16-year-old took legal action against the police. The incident attracts attention given the last year civil unrest in Ferguson, when a police man shot a black teenager.
