"If you don't dedicate yourself entirely to it, you're going to see the results come slower and slower and eventually you will want to drop out," said certified fitness trainer Nathan York of Gold's Gym in York.
There have been many who have shed off pounds and kept them away by sticking to a healthy exercise-diet routine. All one needs is will power.
Trainers say results take time so do not feel low if you see results slowly.
Talking about diet trainers said a bad diet could cancel out all that hard work at the gym.
Trainers said that little changes can get extra. Cutting back on just 100 calories a day can result in a 10-pound weight loss in a year.
Dieticians said that portion size does matter so stick to smaller portions. Adding variety to everyday food was a must. Even if trying low-calorie food, change was needed.
