Members of the Ligurian Council in Italy intend to review a draft resolution with appeal to lift anti-Russian sanctions and to condemn the EU policy regarding the Crimean issue.
The document was elaborated by representatives of Lega Nord party, Forza Italia and Brothers of Italy - National Alliance. They have the majority in Liguria and are regarded to be Matteo Renzi's opposition.
Liguria is the second Italian region after Veneto where such issue has been raised. In Veneto resolution was adopted on 18 May. The Ligurian officials are sure of the same result.
Beside that, votings on alike documents are to take place in Lombardy on 5 July and in Tuscany a bit later.
