Asia invests dozens of billions dollars in Crimea

Businessmen from Turkey, China, and Israel expressed their wish to invest billions of dollars into the Crimea. Businessmen are sure in their profits, as well as in the fact, that the peninsula will remain part of the Russian territory. The Saudi sheikhs are also going to take part in the projects.

Delegations from the Asian countries stated their intentions after visiting the Crimea, and assured that all the conditions needed for the investments are present.

Turkish businessmen have already agreed to invest $12,5 billion, and signed a project on the construction of an 80-storey five-star hotel. As they said, they have nothing to do with the sanctions, and are interested in the whole peninsula. Investors plan to develop light industry, furniture, health tourism, grocery.

Chinese businessmen are intent on developing tobacco industry, tourism, housing and utility sector, and starting canned goods production.

The Saudi businessmen are interested in such cities as Yalta, Feodosia, Kerch, and Sevastopol. They are going to invest in luxury hotel resorts and historical tourism.
