Russia and Belarus emphasize their readiness to actively cooperate in coordinating draft documents of the Council of the OSCE foreign minsters which is going to hold a meeting in Bucharest, on December 3-4. According to the information and press department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, this statement was made at Russian-Belarussian consultations on problems of European security and OSCE which took place in Moscow Wednesday. Special emphasis during the consultations was made on preparation of decisions of the upcoming Bucharest meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers which aim to engage OSCE potential in meeting new challenges to regional and global security, particularly terrorism". The consultations reaffirmed Moscow and Minsk's coinciding stances on the strengthening of the OSCE's role in creation of equal security and partner cooperation environment in Europe, in promotion of a comprehensive institutional reform of this pan-European organization in the interests of all its member states.
