Russian Billiards Tournament for Professionals Began in Krasnoyarsk - 13 March, 2003

A tournament in Russian billiards for professionals has begun in Krasnoyarsk (Siberia).

As many as 32 best billiards players from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine came to Krasnoyarsk to participate in the second round of the World Cup competition in Russian billiards among professionals.

As president of the International Professional Russian Billiards League Sergei Loktev told RIA Novosti, such a competition is held in our country for the third time.

About ten billiards clubs are already working in the city on the Yenisei, and Mikhail Khlyabich who became the first official champion of Russia in 1991 is living here.

The tournament which began on Thursday will end on March 16.
