The Plenipotentiary noted that domestic aircraft manufacturers are facing the task of 'finding their place in the world's technological chains'. Mr. Kiriyenko believes this aviation forum may help to achieve just that and that 'What we expect from French colleagues are actual orders'.
The forum will be also partially held in Moscow, to last through September 27. The seminars held in Nizhny Novgorod are organised by the Rosaviakosmos aerospace agency, the Association of Russia's Producers of Aviation Components, the French Association of Aerospace Industry, and supported by the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod administration and Mr. Kiriyenko's staff. Taking part in the Nizhny Novgorod event are 30 French and 27 Russian companies.
The aviation forum in Nizhny Novgorod will last through September 25.
