Michael Berglin: "There is a difference between freedom of speech and left wing politics"

In response to the following letter by Jim Willauer, Maryland, USA: "Sir:  Saw your article "My Presidential Predictions" dated 08/17/04. I hated it. Where do you extreme left wing folks get this nonsense from?"

Why is the presidential predictions extreme left wing?  There is a difference between my article and left wing politics. 
 
America was built on liberal views - freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and innocent until proven guilty.  You enjoy the rights provided you by the liberal forefathers, correct?
 
I really don't care if you hated my article or not - you see, I also enjoy the rights afforded me by our liberal forefathers.  Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing that will soon disappear from American shores.  Until then, I will continue to write.
