Are people who buy foreign cars un-patriotic? Are they of little account?
Tens of billions of roubles (over 37 billion roubles!) instead of being spent on local cars produced by our own people living in poverty, were spend on foreign cars. It would take roughly 2,150,333 Russian workers getting paid during a whole year to match that bill in a country where a pensioner gets around
1,741 roubles a month. Tens of millions of Russians are in poverty and our fellow countrymen stoop to buying foreign cars, doubling their imports over last year at that. They must be very proud of themselves. In a country where the hiked up priced cars go from $2,639 to $7,910, it takes a lot of effort and determination on the part of economic leeches.
