Letter: It is time for change in the USA

Letter to the Editor:

As things are in so many of the world's countries, the people of the  United States do not generally believe in or support the actions of our nation's leader.  President Bush faced strong disagreement from the people before the invasion occurred, and it continues today.

I believe that November's election will change things, as a Democratic  President would be less likely to invade another nation AT ALL, much less unprovoked.  Force is the first defense of a stupid man, the last defense of a wise one.

All sane people, everywhere, just wish to be left alone to make a living,  to keep their families safe, to have free speech, free press, freedom of  worship, freedom from fear.  We have had some years of poor leadership; it  is indeed time for a change.
