I used to have all these wrong ideas about Russian's because I chose to blindly believe what I thought was the truth about them
I was just writing to let you know that I enjoy this publication.I live in Louisiana,U.S.A. and it is good to be able to see things through someone else's eyes. I am a person who thinks that if you believe something to be truth and do so blindly, that when truth does come and knock on your door you will not open it.
I read Pravda to get a diffrent perspective on the current crisis in our world. I do not believe war is good for anything except human greed and hatred.
I used to have all these wrong ideas about Russian's because I chose to blindly believe what I thought was the truth about them. Then one year when I was in highschool a Russian exchange student named Constantine came to live with my next door neighbors. He had no friends and I was very popular at our school. I was so curious about the Russian people and I befriended him immediately. Alot of people made jokes about him at first but I stuck by him and told my friends that if they had a problem with Constantine then they had a problem with me. I invited him everywhere and we became great friends.
When Constantine had to leave I felt a great loss but he left me with the greatest gift one human can give another, that gift was Understanding. I hope one day that I can come visit your Great country and see my old friend once again. I leave you with Tolerance and Understanding. If you would like to write me back I would be gratefull to have a new Russian friend!
Respectfully,
Scott D.
