Sarah Palin accused President Obama of being a pal to terrorists. It doesn't seem like that to me. Recent events prove that President Obama is on the strong offensive against terrorists here and abroad.
Sarah Palin took sides with the nation of Georgia in its scuffle with Russia even though Georgia started the scuffle by attacking unarmed Russian citizens within provinces that belonged to Georgia. In fact, Georgia was once a territory controlled by Russia but Russia gave the Georgians their independence. Does Sarah Palin realize this? I doubt it. She didn't even know or understand the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive warfare when interviewed on television. She doesn't know much about the world. No wonder McCain wanted to keep her quiet!
Russia is not our enemy anymore. Russia is not the Soviet Union anymore. Yes, Russia does care about its own interests and puts its own interests ahead of the the U.S. but the U.S. does the same thing too. Yes, Russia wants to be first but so does the U.S. Russia has its problems and so does the U.S. Just because Russia has its own interests doesn't make Russia an enemy or an adversary like the former Soviet Union. Sarah Palin doesn't understand any of this. She still thinks Russia is the Soviet Union.
Sarah Palin said that government should get out of the way, but it is precisely because government was not involved in monitoring and regulating our financial institutions that the greedy got away with bringing our economy to its knees.
Sarah Palin is not only ignorant of world issues and history but she lacks the Christian grace and virtue of humility In fact, many in the far right are lacking these virtues. Palin has said that we should never apologize for our country. This is sheer arrogance as if the United States cannot do evil or wrong. Only God can fit that description! Palin was not fit to be Vice President and is certainly not fit to be President.
Those who support Sarah Palin for presidency do so out of ignorance. It is good and right that Sarah Palin is pro-life but being pro-life alone doesn't qualify someone for the presidency. This type of thinking is dangerous for our country. Both the far left and far right would destroy our nation if they completely got their way.
