China's delegation meet with North Korean party officials

A China's Communist Party delegation met with North Korean party officials during a visit to Pyongyang.

The six-member Chinese delegation, led by Liu Hongcai, vice minister of the international department of the Communist Party's central committee, arrived Tuesday in Pyongyang, the official Xinhua News Agency said.

Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met with the group and said the relationship between the two countries was "developing in an all-round way," Xinhua said.

The report did not give details of what else the two sides discussed. The Chinese visit comes as North Korea is under pressure to fulfill its nuclear disarmament commitments under an accord reached in February.

North Korea missed a deadline Saturday to shut its main nuclear reactor, and to invite United Nations nuclear inspectors into the country.
