Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Monday said Israel will press forward with its fight against Palestinian militants following a deadly suicide bombing in the resort town of Eilat, but he stopped short of promising retaliation.
At a meeting with lawmakers from his Kadima party, Olmert said he had ordered the country's security chiefs to investigate how the attack was carried out, reports AP.
"We shall draw the conclusions and learn the lessons, and instruct our security people to continue their ongoing and never-ending struggle against terrorists and those who send them," he said.
