South Korea recently provided US$500,000 to Lebanon and also plans to provide the emergency medical supplies, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
A U.N.-brokered cease-fire came into force Monday in Lebanon after fighting between Israel and Hezbollah guerrillas killed more than 900 people, mostly civilians, since July 12, according to the AP.
