The agency said Ambassador Pak Ui Chun would be meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alexeyev, but gave no other details. Foreign Ministry officials could not be reached immediately to confirm the report.
It was the second time that Russia has summoned the North Korean diplomat in connection with Pyongyang's missile programs. On June 22, Moscow warned the North Korea diplomat of Russia's opposition to any steps that would affect regional stability.
Earlier Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry expressed "serious concern" over the missile tests, and called on Pyongyang to return to its seven-year moratorium on such launches, the AP reports.
