The Black Antelopes earned two points with two draws and narrowly lost a third match in their debut at the tournament.

Angola's 1-1 draw with Iran on Wednesday gave the team third place in Group D behind Portugal and Mexico, who both advanced to the second round. Considered to be the weakest team in the group, Angola improved throughout the tournament, first losing to Portugal 1-0 and then holding Mexico to a 0-0 draw, the AP reports.
