Ukraine: time remains to get country out of political impasse

Ukrainian President &to=http://english.pravda.ru/main/18/90/361/16697_Yushchenko.html' target=_blank>Viktor Yushchenko on Wednesday expressed hope that there is still enough time to find an agreement to end the political impasse sparked by parliament's vote to sack the Cabinet.

"I am still trying to maintain hope in one thing _ that there is still time to come to agreement, to leave emotions out of it and speak wisely," Yushchenko said at the start of a meeting with the National Security Council.

The parliament is to hold a special session with Yushchneko's expected participation to discuss the issue on Thursday.
