Beckhams private life may be harmful for your computer

&to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/2002/11/04/39109.html ' target=_blank>David Beckham is the chosen one by virus writers who are using people's interest in the England captain's private life for distributing a virus.

According to The BBC, computer users get a message that implies to have evidence of Beckham in a compromising position. Anyone who visits the website and then downloads and opens the fake image file stored on that site will be infecting his computer by the virus.

According to anti-virus firm Sophos, there are quite a few &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/world/2002/10/15/38202_.html ' target=_blank>messages posted about pictures of Beckham with a woman in an enticing position.

One of the messages said: "David Beckham of &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/sport/2000/10/26/490.html ' target=_blank>Real Madrid was caught by photographers with his pants down. Early in the morning he was photographed with a Spanish hooker in a rather compromising position. Photos yet to hit the newspapers have been released here."

The link to the website where the pictures can be downloaded is provided as well, but, instead a Trojan file gets downloaded if the link is clicked. Once downloaded and opened it can allow hackers to gain control of the users’ computers, reports Techtree.
