The number of inmates at Iraq's tarnished Abu Ghraib prison will be halved in 45 days. In the end of April, photos made at Abu Ghraib were published, to show Iraqis suffering physical and sexual abuse at the hands of US soldiers. Now the number of detainees there should be reduced from 3,800 to 1,500 - 2,000, according to US General Geoffrey Miller who is in charge of Iraq military prisons.
