Schwarzenegger will attend 2005 'stars of strength' tourney in Ukraine

Arnold Schwarzenegger will visit Zaporozhye in spring 2005 at the invitation of famed Ukrainian weightlifter Leonid Zhabotinsky, the Zaporozhye City Council's press service has told Rosbalt. Schwarzenegger, the film star and now governor of California, will be in Zaporozhye for Stars of Strength, an international weightlifting tournament.

Schwarzenegger and Zhabotinsky have a longstanding friendship. The actor has said that his meeting with Zhabotinsky, who was his idol, in the 1960s changed his life. Athletes from 10 nations are expected to take part in the tournament.
