In three months, British Airways will begin regular flight to Yekaterinburg. The Sverdlovsk Region administration told Rosbalt that the region signed an agreement with British Airways to facilitate air service between Yekaterinburg and London.
The new service is expected to begin on May 10. Three times per week an Airbus 320/321 will take passengers from Yekaterinburg to London Heathrow airport airport and back. The flight continues on from Yekaterinburg to Almaty.
British Airways also intends to open a representative office in Yekaterinburg and other points for the sale of air tickets in the coming weeks. For the time being, tickets can be reserved through the British Airways service center in Moscow.
