Russian pavilion at Global Village exposition in Emirates enjoys success

The Russian pavilion is highly popular with visitors of the Global Village exposition in Dubai.

"The Russian pavilion gives the exposition a specific flavor of Russia's rich and varied culture," Global Village Director Ibrahim Abdul Rahim told Al Ittihad Arabic newspaper.

The Global Village exposition features pavilions of 38 countries presenting the cultural heritage and folk crafts as part of the annual trade festival Dubai-2004. Russia is participating in the exposition for the first time.

Russian traditional crafts are demonstrated in the Russian pavilion. Visitors can buy Russian souvenirs made of bone, silver and cut-glass ware, national costumes, food products, etc.

More than 2.5 million people from all over the world are expected to visit the festival and the Global Village.
