A delegation from the US Department of State will arrive in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, today. The delegation is headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Linn Pasco. Sources in the Georgian State Office told RBC that Pasco would meet with Georgian acting President Nino Burdzhanadze and Georgian Minister of State Zurab Zhvania. According to official data, the aim of the visit is to discuss the ways the USA can help Georgia. It is possible that US delegates will hold meetings with Georgian parliamentary chiefs.
