Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will meet with the Russian authorities during his routine visit to Moscow on November 2-4, press representative of the Israeli Embassy in Moscow Michael Brodski told RIA Novosti.
According to him, Ariel Sharon is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov and Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov.
The talks in Moscow are to focus on the situation in the Middle East, first of all, the implementation of the road map worked out by the four international intermediaries.
The Israeli Prime Minister would like to discuss the fight against international terrorism, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and the situation around Iran, Brodski noted.
The meetings will also focus on Russian-Israeli bilateral relations.
In addition, the Israeli Prime Minister will meet with representatives of the Jewish diaspora in Moscow, Brodski said.
