Bishkek to host discussion on money laundering on CIS

Leaders of special services from the Commonwealth of Independent States, the CIS, will discuss joint measures to counteract money laundering and criminal incomes legalization at the 15th session of the Council of heads of CIS security bodies and special services, that opens on October 28th in Kyrgyzstan.

As RIA Novosti learned from the National Security Service of Kyrgyzstan, the heads of special services will consider interaction in export control to reveal and prevent the most dangerous cases of smuggling and customs law violations.

The centrepiece of the session will be issues of working out a joint programme to exchange and analyze information concerning fight against terrorism.

After the Council Kyrgyzstan will host a team contest on martial kinds of sports with the prizes of the Council.

As far as RIA Novosti has learned, the Council's session will continue its work till October 31st in the Avrora sanatorium on the bank of Lake Issyk Kul.
