On Wednesday, October 22, Washington is to host a forum called "Reform of Natural Monopolies. Legislation. Investments." Its basic aim is to thoroughly discuss the course of development and reformation of such branches of the economy as power industry, nuclear power industry, telecommunications and transport, RIA Novosti was told in the Russian Embassy to the U.S.
Forum participants will discuss issues of creating a favorable investment climate, with presentation of specific investment projects.
The forum was organized by the International Russian-American Institute of Natural Monopolies Regulation and Resource Saving and Russia's Federal Energy Commission (FEC), with the assistance of the RF Embassy to the US.
FEC Chairman Kutovoi, other FEC representatives, officials from the Russian Federation Nuclear Power Ministry, RAO "UES of Russia", Economic Development and Trade Ministry and scientific circles will take part in the forum, the Embassy reported.
