The first economic forum of Armenia-Diaspora ended today with an agreement to create a worldwide Armenian commercial network. The decision came at the final plenary session of the forum. As reported by Rosbalt, the entrepreneurs taking part in the forum adopted a declaration of intention to stimulate active cooperation between the businesses of Armenia and the Armenian diaspora and to facilitate exchanges of information between them. It was also decided to hold similar forums every three years in Erevan as a way of helping the economy of Armenia.
The September 22-24 forum brought together more than 300 business people, approximately 200 representing the Armenian diaspora of various countries. The biggest delegations came from Russia and the US.
