A routine, 14th session of the Russian-German working group to discuss strategic economic and financial issues will be held on Wednesday in Cherepovets (a town of metal workers in the north of European Russia).
The ministry of economic development and trade reported that the participants in the session will discuss, in particular, arrangements connected with Russia's accession to the World Trade Organisation, including Germany's help to Russia in this event and changes in the tariff-customs regulations in Russia.
The working group will also consider protectionist restrictions on the delivery of several types of Russian pipes to Germany.
The session participants will also discuss Russian and German projects: cooperation between Aeroflot and Lufthansa aircraft companies in intensifying the passenger and cargo communication, cooperation with the German branch of Rolls-Royce in the production of Be-200 (amphibious aircraft) and Tu-334 planes, creation of the joint venture for designing satellite geodesic receivers and the construction of a plant for the production of high quality paper in the Vologda region.
Taking part in the session of the working group will be Russian first deputy economic development and trade minister Ivan Materov, state secretary of the German economics ministry Alfred Tacke and state secretary of the German finance ministry Caio Koch-Weser.
