On Monday, July 28, Secretary General of the Collective Security Council of the member-countries of the Collective Security Treaty Nikolai Bordyuzha will meet with Chairman of the UN Counter Terrorism Committee Inocencio F. Arias.
They will discuss the prospects of cooperation between these organisations in the fight against the present day threats and challenges.
On Tuesday, July 29, Nikolai Bordyuzha will take part in the meeting of the leaders of regional organisations on problems of security, which will take place in the UN headquarters.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of the European Union, NATO, the ASEAN and SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation: Russia, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan). As the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty told reporters last week in Moscow, at this meeting he intends to speak about the Collective Security Treaty as a really functioning regional structure.
The member countries of the Treaty are: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
