The German government will take part in the payment of compensation to family members of those killed when two airplanes collided over the Lake Bodensee in June, 2002. According to German television, the upper administrative court of Germany made the decision today. The sum of the payment will be USD 7.29 million.
The TU-154 airliner of Bashkiria Airlines collision with the transport Boeing postal freight carrier for company DHL occurred in the summer of 2002 and 76 people were killed. The total sum of compensation payment, according to experts, should be approximately USD 84.75 million and the main portion will be paid by the Swiss government, which was the official owner of the dispatcher company Skyguide that was responsible for the catastrophe.
