Secretary General of the Collective Security Council /SKB/ consisting of Collective Security Treaty participants Nikolai Borduzha will visit Kazakhstan on a working visit from June 30th to July 3rd.
During his visit Borduzha will meet President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev as well as representatives of military departments and organisations, the secretariat of the Collective Security Council reported on Friday.
The parties will discuss issues concerning the situation in the region in the context of the Afghani situation and forming of a new military constituent of the Collective Security Treaty organisation.
Besides, they will touch upon cooperation between the member-states in counteraction of international terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal migration and other threats and challenges.
The Collective Security Treaty includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
