All Iran's uranium is used for peaceful purposes and controlled by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran's chief representative to the IAEA Ali Salehi said at the meeting of the IAEA Council of Managers in Vienna. The issue of Iran's nuclear security is on the agenda of the meeting.
According to the Iranian representative, IAEA Director General Mohamed El Baradei's report focuses on the problem of Iran's nuclear programmes connected with 0.13 kilograms of uranium available.
This volume is under permanent control of IAEA inspectors and I have nothing to add here, the Iranian representative said.
Iran approves additional protocol to the treaty on non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and Teheran officials are considering the possibility to sign the protocol, Salehi said.
