Georgia is considering the possibility of joining the G-4, an economic group uniting Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Tbilisi will make a decision after it has weighed all the pros and cons of integrating into the G-4, Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze told the national radio.
"It is our opinion that any kind of integration must bring us closer to international financial institutions and European structures," he said.
In general, he added, Georgia finds the idea of integrating into the G-4 interesting enough.
